NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven Police are seeking to identify the suspect in a June 15 robbery that took place at Green Corner Market on Edgewood Avenue.
The robber approached the counter with items and then grabbed the clerk by the neck and ordered him to cooperate, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. He grabbed the clerk's bat and threatened to harm him.
The robber left with $600 in cash and some cigarettes. The clerk wasn't harmed.

The attached images are of the criminal responsible for the robbery. He was described as a middle-aged, bald black man wearing eyeglasses. At the time of the robbery, he was clad in a blue crew-neck sweatshirt, grey sweatpants and black and white sneakers.
