New Haven School Threat Prompts Police Investigation
A threat was made against a high school over social media.
NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven Police are assisting security at Wilbur Cross High School after an overnight threat made using social media against the school.
"At this time the specific origin and credibility of the message have not been determined but Police are actively investigating the matter," said William Clark, New Haven Public Schools spokesman. "Police and other support has been provided to the school and its security team in order to maintain a safe school environment for all students and staff.
Wilbur Cross had its normal regularly scheduled half-day today.
