New Haven Shooting Investigated

A victim was shot while riding a bicycle, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near Arthur and Lamberton streets Oct. 29.

Police responded to the area shortly before 4 a.,. and found a 52-year-old victim who was shot in the shin while riding a bicycle, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.

The shooter approached the victim on foot, fired several times and fled in a white car, Hartman said. Nothing was taken from the victim.

The victim's injuries are non-life threatening.
