New Haven Shooting Investigated

A man was shot in the arm, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a shooting that left a local man injured.

Police were dispatched to 1st Avenue between Clifton and Hemingway Streets Feb. 1 around 4:31 p.m. on the report of two victims being shot. When they arrived they only found one victim, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment after being shot in the arm.

Police are looking for a green car that is possibly involved in the shooting.
