New Haven Supervisor Lied About Sexting Incident: Lawsuit
A male employee claims he was harassed by a female supervisor who falsely accused him of sending a picture of his genitalia.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A New Haven city worker is suing the city and a supervisor with claims that he is the victim of sexual harassment. Edward Cloud claims that he was falsely accused of sending a picture of his genitalia to supervisor Honda Smith, according to a lawsuit.
Cloud claims that Smith agreed that the picture she showed him of a man holding his genitalia wasn't him, but that she continued to claim he sent the picture to her, the lawsuit states.
Smith denied the allegations and the city refused to comment, citing the pending litigation, according to WTNH.

Cloud had to deal with disparaging treatment from his fellow coworkers who called him "Little Winky," and other names, according to the lawsuit. Afterward he was moved from the department's street division to the less-desirable transfer station while Smith was rewarded with an increase in duties.
He also claimed that Smith made a false complaint to police which caused him to be issued a summons for breach of peace. The incident stemmed from Cloud recording Smith while she was harassing two other employees, according to the lawsuit.

Cloud is seeking unspecified compensatory and punitive damages. The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court.
