New Haven Takes a $1 million Hit in Malloy's Latest Budget Plan

New Haven was slated to receive $226 million in fiscal year 2019; Malloy's plan would lower than by $1 million.

NEW HAVEN, CT - The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.

Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.

New Haven would receive $1,056,249 less under Malloy's new plan; It was slated to receive $226 million; now, $225 million.
