New Haven Teen Waives Box Cutter Around Inside Store: Milford PD

Police say the incident occurred at the mall.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven teen is accused of trying on clothes at a store inside the Connecticut Post Mall, 1201 Boston Post Road, while waiving a box cutter around, police said. On Nov. 17, officers responded to Forever 21 on a complaint of suspicious activity, police said.

Investigation led to the arrest of Brianna Harris, 18, of Lawrence Street in New Haven, who is accused of waving a box cutter around the store as she tried on clothes, police said. Store employees stated that when they asked Harris to leave she told them she would "F them up," police said. Harris had left the scene and was located at the bus stop by officers, police said.

She is charged with second-degree breach of peace and released on a promise to appear in court.
