New Haven Woman Charged With Assault: Naugatuck Police

Police say the accused entered the victim's house and grabbed the victim by the hair.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A New Haven woman is accused of assaulting a woman, Naugatuck police said. On Sept. 5 at 12 p.m. Cinthya Shade, 27, of Chapel Street in New Haven was arrested on an active arrest warrant, police said.

The warrant was for an assault reported on Jan. 18, police said. The accused entered the victim's home without permission and grabbed the victim by the hair, police said. The accused and victim were separated by people in the home, police said.

The accused left prior to the officer's arrival, police said. Shade is charged with disorderly conduct, third-degree assault, and third-degree criminal trespass. She was released on a $2,500 bond.
