New Haven Woman Who Shoplifted Also Possessed Stun Gun: Milford Police
Police responded to the mall on a shoplifting report recently.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven woman is accused of stealing items from Macy's without paying for them, Milford police said. On Oct. 7, officers responded to Macy's, 1201 Boston Post Road on a report of a shoplifter in custody, police said.
Investigation led to the arrest of Leanie Hayes, 25, of Edgewood Avenue in New Haven, who is accused of taking approximately $200 worth of items without paying, police said.
Further investigation showed Hayes to be in possession of an electronic stun gun, police said. Hayes is charged with sixth-degree larceny and criminal possession of an electronic control device.
