Obit: Carrie Mae Watley, 91, of New Haven

Carrie Mae Watley, 91, of New Haven, passed away Mon., Oct. 30, 2017. She was born in Eagle Mills, Arkansas to the late Felix and Maude Williams Young on March 8, 1926. She retired from New Haven Savings Bank where she worked in the New Accounts department.

Carrie leaves to cherish her memory, brothers, Louis Young and Allen (Margaret) Young; sisters, Willie Mae Madden and Ruthell (Monroe) Allen; two grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry S. Watley, Sr.; sons, Harry S. Watley, Jr. and Jonathan E. Watley; brother, Lawrence Young, Sr.; and sister, Ruthenia Washington.
