Obituary: Louis Antonio Ortíz, 42, Of New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home): Louis Antonio Ortíz, 42 of New Haven died suddenly on Friday, December 18, 2020, at Yale-New Haven, St. Raphael Campus.

He was the beloved son of Louis and Juanita Rodríguez Ortíz of New Haven, Louis was born in New Haven on September 27, 1978, and was a lifelong resident of New Haven and attended Wilbur Cross High School.

He worked for City Line Distributors of West Haven for the past 12 years.

Louis loved music, and his passion was being a D.J.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Louis Charles Ortíz of New Britain and Justin and Jaysen Threet of New Haven, two sisters, Lisandra and Melinda Ortíz of New Haven, two grandchildren, Jennalysz and Jayvien Ortíz, and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Louis' family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 23rd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.

A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, Dec. 24 at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, New Haven.
