She was a volunteer at the McGivney Cancer Center, yet she always said she always received far more than she ever gave.Sally successfully battled and defeated cancer several times since the early 1980’s. Many wonderful doctors gave her extra time and she thanks them. Her true joy was spending time with her family and always said she had a special relationship with the man upstairs. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Over the past several years as her health was failing, she so truly appreciated visits from friends and family.
She was so appreciative of her caretaker and special friend, Annie, who took such great care of her over her final years as well as Nicki, Marie and Melicia who helped so much during her final days and of course, her faithful dog, Maggie.
