Overnight Elm Street Shooting Leaves One In Critical Condition: Police
Just before 2 a.m., a man, sitting in his car in the 500-block of Elm Street, was shot by someone in another car, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Just before 2 a.m., shots rang out on the 500-block of Elm Street, police said.
According to New Haven police spokesperson Capt. Rose Dell, as cops were arriving to the area of Elm between Garden and Kensington streets, a gunshot victim walked into the St. Raphael’s Campus of Yale-New Haven Hospital on Chapel Street.
Hospital staff told cops the person is in critical but stable condition, Dell said.

Investigators found that the victim was sitting in his vehicle when he was shot at by the occupant of another vehicle, Dell said.
No ballistic evidence —bullets or casings —was found on scene, Dell said.
