Person Shot In New Haven Tuesday Night
The victim was taken to the hospital by private car, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 35-year-old city man sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound Tuesday night in the city.
Police were dispatched to Liberty and Putnam Streets at 7:44 p.m. after ShotSpotter and 911 callers reported gunfire, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
The victim arrived at the hospital by private car and had been hit in the arm.

"Detectives are investigating the shooting and have located evidence they believe is connected on the one-hundred block of nearby West Street," Hartman said. "No description of the shooter has been provided."
