The pizza delivery driver tried to fight back, but was beaten up and had a gun pointed at him, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A pizza delivery driver was beaten and robbed July 25 while making a delivery, according to police.
The driver was making a delivery after midnight on Ford Street when he spotted two women who he suspected ordered the pizza, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. They grabbed the food and didn't pay.
Two men then jumped into his vehicle and the delivery driver tried getting them out, but a third suspect put a gun to the driver's neck, Hartman said. The three men then sped off.
