Police Investigate 'Sudden Death' Of New Haven Woman, 35

New Haven police said they responded to the woman's Bassett Street home just before 6:45 p.m. Saturday, when they found her body.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating the "sudden death" of a 35-year-old New Haven woman who went to sleep Saturday afternoon and did not wake up.

New Haven police said they responded to the woman's Bassett Street home just before 6:45 p.m. Saturday, when they found her body.

Detectives responded to the home for an investigation and the woman's body will undergo an autopsy, according to police.
