Serious Sunday Multi-Car Foxon Road Crash Being Investigated: Police
Two people in the three-car collision sustained serious injuries and are hospitalized in critical condition, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A three-vehicle collision Sunday in the area of 225 Foxon Boulevard is being investigated by cops. Two people were seriously injured in the crash, police said.
New Haven police spokesperson Capt. Rose Dell said patrol officers found a Nissan Pathfinder collided with a Mercedes-Benz E350 and a Hyundai Elantra. She said investigators believe that the Pathfinder was traveling east on Foxon Boulevard and veered into the opposing travel lane, leading to a collision with the two vehicles that were traveling westbound.
The Nissan driver was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for significant injuries where was in critical condition as of Sunday, Dell said. The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was also taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash and was in critical but stable condition as of Sunday, Dell said.

The driver and passenger of the Hyundai were evaluated at the hospital for minor injuries and were discharged, Dell said.
The Crash Reconstruction Team was activated, and a thorough investigation will be conducted to analyze the evidence and determine how the collision occurred.
