Special Olympics to Host Unified Sports® Holiday Classic, Nov. 19 & 20
Events will take place in Hamden, Derby, Milford, East Haven
Special Olympics Connecticut will host its Annual Unified Sports® Holiday Classic, presented by the Connecticut Elks Association, on Saturday, November 19th and Sunday, November 20th. Sports and locations for this year's event include Bowling at Bowlero Lanes, Milford and AMF Circle Lanes, East Haven, Unified Basketball at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Powerlifting at Gleason Performance Training in Derby, and Unified Sports Volleyball at the Hamden Hall Beckerman Athletic Center, Hamden.
The Special Olympics Unified Sports program brings people with and without intellectual disabilities together on the same team to promote acceptance, opportunity and inclusion for all.
