Stop Sticks Used In New Haven Chase
A man fled police in Wilton and then led police on a chase on Route 15.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A police chase that started in Wilton ended in New Haven after State Police used stop sticks to disable the vehicle.
Wilton Police tried to stop a Honda Civic that eventually headed on Route 15 northbound in Westport. State Police caught up with the vehicle on Route 15 in Fairfield and tried to stop the vehicle in Trumbull.
The vehicle increased speed and refused to stop.

Police used stop sticks just north of exit 60 in New Haven.
Operator Ijeboi Holmes, 43, of Wilton was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in a pursuit, interfering with police, operating under suspension and driving without insurance or registration.
