Teen Injured, Cars And Homes Struck In New Haven Shooting
Multiple houses and vehicles were also struck by gunfire, according to police.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A 19-year-old New Haven man was injured in a shooting that also damaged multiple houses and cars Sunday evening, the New Haven Police Department told Patch Monday afternoon.
The shooting was reported around 6:40 p.m. and police found a crime scene in a driveway on Hazel Street. The damage to the homes and vehicles were caused by gunfire, according to police.
The gunshot victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life threatening, police said.
