Trinity Bar Boarded Up After Large Fire

A man was in critical condition after the Friday fire.

NEW HAVEN, CT – There was a steady stream of passersby Monday in New Haven walking past the boarded up Trinity Bar on Orange Street, the scene of a spectacular fire on Friday afternoon.

The bar’s exterior had plywood boards all around it, including the second floor above the bar, which is where the fire is believed to have started, officials said.

An unidentified man who lived in the apartment was badly burned and is in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital.
