Two Shot In Separate New Haven Shootings: PD
One victim is still in the hospital in critical condition.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Two people were injured in separate shootings Dec. 21 and 22. Police responded to Greenwood Street at 8:48 p.m. Dec. 21 on a report of gunfire and someone shot.
They discovered a 55-year-old woman who was shot in the chest and leg. She was rushed to the hospital for treatment and remains in critical, but stable condition, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
"There is no description of any suspect or suspect vehicle at this time although investigators believe the shooter fled on foot," Hartman said. "Detectives collected evidence from the scene."

On Dec. 22 police responded to a report of gunfire on Ferry Street at 4:23 a.m. The victim was located on a front porch.
The 22-year-old victim sustained a gunshot to the left forearm and was taken to the hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening wound.

The victim told police that he was with two others when confronted by a group of three men. They fired at the group and the house was also hit by gunfire.
