Wanted New Haven Man Stole Goods From Sears: Milford Police

Police said when they responded to the call, they learned the accused had an outstanding arrest warrant.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of stealing more than $300 worth of merchandise from Sears and police say they learned that the suspect was also wanted, Milford police said.

On Oct. 28, officers responded to the store on a report of a shoplifter that had just left the store, police said. Investigation led to the arrest of Alejandro Berrocales, 39, of Fulton Street, who was located at a nearby bus stop, police said.

He is accused of taking $317 worth of goods from Sears without paying for it, police said. Police said Berrocales also had an active warrant for his arrest for failing to appear in court in July for a motor vehicle arrest out of New Haven, police said.
