NEW HAVEN, CT — Using their talents, students in teacher Kristin Wetmore’s painting class at Cooperative Arts and Humanities High School created art to help make sure animals at the Robin I. Kroogman New Haven Animal Shelter find forever homes.

The students created portraits of the pets currently available for adoption at the Fournier Street animal shelter.

Their paintings will be on display at the Mitchel Branch of the New Haven Library, 37 Harrison St. in Westville starting Monday. They'll be there through the month of February.
