Woman Stabbed Over Hair Dryer Argument: New Haven PD

She was taken to the hospital for treatment of her injuries.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A woman told police that she was stabbed after an argument over a hair dryer, according to police.

Police responded to Huntington Avenue Sept. 10 for a reported stabbing. A 22-year-old woman sustained a non-life threatening wound to her abdomen and was taken to the hospital, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.

"The victim was reluctant to explain what had happened. Eventually she told investigators she’d been in the company of two girlfriends in her apartment," Hartman said. "She and one of the girls started arguing over a blow-dryer and the girl stabbed her in her abdomen. She refused to identify her assailant."
