Yale Officer Nabs Would-Be Robber: PD
The would-be robber left a pharmacy empty handed only to be nabbed shortly after, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A would-be robber's efforts yielded him a pair of silver cuffs instead of cash after a Yale University officer nabbed him, according to police.
Police were dispatched to the Rite-Aid pharmacy on Church Street Sept. 7 around 7:17 p.m. A man told pharmacy workers to hand over cash from the register and no one would get hurt, said Officer David Hartman, New Haven police spokesman.
A worker opened the register, but another worker put the money back inside and closed it. The manager then confronted the robber and told him to get out of the store. He took off on foot.
