Black Friday Blaze Reported At Newington Residence

NEWINGTON, CT — A Black Friday morning blaze in Newington is out and everyone is safe, according to the Newington Volunteer Fire Department early Friday morning.

The NVFD at about 4 a.m. reported a residential structure fire on Old Farm Drive, resulting in multiple units at the scene.

Later in the morning, firefighters said the blaze was "extinguished" and no injuries were reported.

The fire, however, remains under investigation, according to the NVFD.
