Newington High School Indoor Track Athletes Qualify for States
A number of Indians will be competing in the state championships next month.
NEWINGTON, CT — Several members of the Newington High School girls indoor track team have posted numbers good enough to qualify for state competition later this winter.
The girls Class L meet will be held Feb. 11 at the Floyd Little Athletic Center in New Haven. The State Open will also take place there on Feb. 18.

- 55 meters - Rashell Mazquia, 7.71
- 300 meters - Stephanie Akosa, 44.59
- long jump - Abigail Lyons, 14-6
- high jump - Abigail Lyons, 4-8
- 4 x 800 relay, 10:51.95
