Newington Obituary: Helen Quinn, 78

Helen (Kane) Quinn, 78, of Newington, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late John B. Quinn.

Mrs. Quinn resided in Newington for more than 40 years, and was a member of St. Mary's Church. She retired from Sedgewick James, Inc., as a senior vice president. She was a member of the Irish American Club in Glastonbury, Chairman of the Irish Committee and was actively involved with the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law Darcey and Ralph Sampson of Newington; and two grandchildren, Conal Q. Sampson and his wife Emily Anne, of West Hartford, and Helena E. Sampson of Baltimore, MD.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 16, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 626 Willard Ave., Newington. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
