
Lina Brunelle, 92, the beloved wife of Albert F. Brunelle, departed this life on Friday, May 6, 2016, in the presence of her family.
She was born to Medard & Eva (Menard) Gosselin on July 6, 1923 in Ste. Hermenegilde, Quebec, Canada. Lina was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, and memere, always cherishing visits from her family, especially Wednesday night dinners, which extended four generations. She welcomed her in-laws Arthur & Josephine Brunelle into her family and cared for them for over 20 years.
Along with her husband, left to cherish her memory are her children, Lise Banach and husband Stephen of E.Hampton, Rolande Brunelle of Wethersfield, Marc and wife Laura of E. Granby, and Jeanne Charbonneau and husband Jim of Berlin, her grandchildren; Christian and wife Kristin, Timothy and wife Erika, Mary and husband Kyle, Eric, Sean, Emily, and Andrew, her four great grandchildren, and in-laws Rita (Brunelle) Bolduc, and Roger & Pauline Brunelle. She was predeceased by all of her siblings.

Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 11, at 9:00 AM, from Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Avenue, Newington, CT with a 10:00 AM Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, 626 Willard Avenue, Newington. Rites of Committal will follow the Mass at Rose Hill Memorial Park in Rocky Hill. Relatives and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, May 10, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at Newington Memorial.
