NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in her home town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On July 21, Shelly Erickson, of Newington, purchased a 30x Cash 6th Edition ticket at the J & J Tobacco LLC in Newington and won $10,000.
