NEWINGTON, CT — A Newington resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in her home town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
On October 15, Maria Marques, of Newington, purchased a 30x Cash 7th Edition ticket from the Price Chopper in Newington and won $10,000.
