2 Charged With Stealing Items From Vehicles In New London: PD
Police said two New London men were arrested after allegedly stealing items from a resident's vehicle.
NEW LONDON, CT — Police said two New London men were arrested early Monday morning after allegedly stealing items from a Blydenburg Avenue resident's vehicle. Police said they were called to the area after the resident was awakened around 4:24 a.m. by an alert from his exterior security cameras.
When the resident checked his cameras, he allegedly saw his vehicle being burglarized and called police, according to a release.
When officers arrived in the area, they stopped two men on Ann Street matching the description given by the resident, who were subsequently identified by the resident as the ones who burglarized his vehicle, police said.

Police said both suspects had numerous items in their possession believed to have been stolen from other vehicles in the area.
Police said Dorvensley Elissaint and Steven Manley, both 19 and of New London, were charged with burglary and conspiracy to commit burglary. Elissaint was additionally charged with larceny and Manley was charged with accessory to larceny, according to police.
