Captain America: Brave New World is a 2025 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the character Sam Wilson / Captain America. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO), comprising 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today, has been the Jazz at Lincoln Center resident orchestra since 1988 and spends over a third of the year on tour across the world. Featured in all aspects of Jazz atLincoln Center’s programming, this remarkably versatile orchestra performs and lead seducational events in New York, across the U.S., and around the globe; in concert halls; dance venues; jazz clubs; public parks; and with symphony orchestras, ballet troupes, local students, and an ever-expanding roster of guest artists. <h6>WYNTON MARSALIS</h6>
Wynton Marsalis(Music Director, Trumpet) is the Managing and Artistic Director of Jazz at Lincoln Center(JALC). Born in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1961, he is the son of renowned jazz pianist and music educator Ellis Marsalis, Jr. Marsalis was gifted his first trumpet at age six by Al Hirt; soon thereafter, he began playing in New Orleans’ famed Fairview Baptist Church Bandled by banjoist Danny Barker. However, it wasn’t until he turned twelve that Marsalis began to formally train on the trumpet and perform in bands throughout the city, from the New Orleans Philharmonic and New Orleans Youth Orchestra to funk bands, concert bands, and small jazz ensembles. As a teenager, his passion for music rapidly escalated. In 1979, at the age of seventeen, Marsalis moved to New York City to study classical trumpet at The Juilliard School. Yet he quickly entrenched himself in New York’s effervescent jazz scene, launching his career with the legendary Art Blakey &amp;The Jazz Messengers. At just nineteen, Marsalis hit the road with his own band—he has been touring the world ever since. From 1981 to the time of this writing, he has performed 5,328 concerts in 856 distinct cities and 66 countries around the world.
Wynton Marsalis’ core beliefs and foundation for living are based on the principles of jazz. He promotes individual creativity (improvisation), collective cooperation (swing), gratitude and good manners (sophistication), and facing adversity with persistent optimism (the blues).

Learn
 how to frame your fine art in a custom wooden frame. Students will 
start with a hardwood board and turn it into an 8 x 10 picture frame to 
take home.
Students will use the router table to create
 the frame profile, then use table saw jigs to create accurate miter 
joints. After gluing the frame, students will reinforce the frame 
corners, cut plexiglass and backer board, and finish sand the frame.
Students
 will take home all the supplies required to put a protective finish on 
the frame, install a picture, and hang the frame on the wall.

The event takes place from 6–9 p.m. and features a memorable evening outdoors—lawn games and cocktails, a delicious multi-course seafood dinner and dessert, and fireworks over the Thames River (beginning at 9:15 p.m.).
A portion of the proceeds from Seafood, Sparks &amp; Scholarships will benefit the North Star Scholarship Fund. During the evening, guests will also have the opportunity to participate in a Crab Raise and make an additional contribution to scholarships, helping provide access, opportunity, and support for Mitchell students.

Rustic-chic private farm venue in scenic Stonington, CT 

Deans Mill Farm 

Built in the mid-1700s as a functioning livestock farm, Deans Mill Farm has gone through an evolution in recent decades. A full renovation of the historic buildings and rejuvenation of the surrounding 70+ acres has made the property into the incredible venue it is today. Deans Mill Farm now operates primarily as a private event space and five-room bed and breakfast tucked down a private road in Stonington, Connecticut. It shares its property with Dragonfly Equestrian Center and is home to dozens of horses. On the property lies meadows, hiking trails, beautiful fields and Dragonfly Disc Golf. The property can be rented for weddings, birthday parties and other special events. Additionally, the bed and breakfast can be rented by the room or reserved in its entirety for complete privacy. The Farm has the ability to host small private indoor events for up to 50 guests in the Farmhouse. Outdoor tented events are our specialty, with numerous locations on-site that are picturesque for your celebration. Outdoor tented celebrations can accommodate up to 250 guests.
