2 Injured In New London Scooter Crash: Police
A victim is in critical condition following an accident involving two scooters in New London, according to police.
NEW LONDON, CT — Two people were injured in a scooter accident Wednesday morning in New London, according to police.
Police and firefighters responded at 10:56 a.m. to a report of an accident with injuries on Broad Street in the area of the Cedar Grove cemetery entrance.
Police arrived and found a male victim unresponsive in the road.

The person was taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The male victim is in critical condition, police said.
The accident involved two scooters that collided. The other driver involved was also taken to the hospital with treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
