2 Pedestrians Struck by Car in New London, 1 Person Rescued After Being Pinned: BREAKING
One of the pedestrians suffered serious injuries in the accident, according to reports.

NEW LONDON, CT — The New London Fire Department responded to an accident where a motor vehicle struck two pedestrians at the New London Trolley Information Center Friday evening.
The Fire Department said on social media that the car struck two pedestrians and one person was pinned under a vehicle. The pinned individual was removed and three people were taken to a hospital.
Fox 61 says the driver of the vehicle drove up onto the sidewalk and that the person pinned under the vehicle did suffer serious injuries but was alert at the scene. Firefighters worked quickly to remove the trapped person.

Another pedestrian who was hit and the driver of the vehicle were also hospitalized with minor injuries, Fox 61 reports.
The New London Day reports that the accident occurred just before 6 p.m. and Eugene O'Neill Drive is still closed as of 7:45 p.m.
