2 Pythons Found In New London Trash Can: Animal Control
A resident found two ball pythons--one living, the other dead--in a New London trash can recently.
NEW LONDON, CT — Two ball pythons were found in a trash can on Amity Street in New London over the weekend, according to New London Animal Control. One was dead and the other "is very thin."

There are 14 snakes native to Connecticut, according to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The ball python is not one of them.
