3 Firefighters Injured In New London Blaze: Report

Three firefighters were treated for burns over the weekend.

NEW LONDON, CT — Three firefighters suffered injuries fighting a blaze on Fuller Street on Saturday, according to FOX 61. Crews battled the second-alarm fire at a residential building at Fuller and Colman streets, extinguishing the blaze at 1:45 p.m.

The three firefighters were taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment of burns, according to FOX 61. No other injuries were reported.

Colman Street between Jefferson Avenue and Walden Street was closed to traffic but has since reopened, News 8 reported.
