4 Charged In New London Motel Drug Bust: Police

Four people were arrested after police said they found fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine at a motel Saturday night.

NEW LONDON, CT — Four people are facing drug charges following a bust in New London on Saturday, according to police.

Police responded to address quality of life issues at about 8 p.m. and arrested four people at the Regency Inn and Suites Motel at 269 North Frontage Road.

Police seized 1.9 ounces of fentanyl, 1.7 ounces of cocaine, 3.6 ounces of crack cocaine, and $1,138 in cash.

Jonathan Olivencia, 35, of New London, was charged with two counts of possession of narcotics, possession of drug paraphernalia, operating a drug factory, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, and possession of narcotics with intent to sell within 200 ft. of a school.

David Valez, 42, of Montville, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

A New London man was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. A New London woman was also charged with possession of narcotics.
