Affordable Housing Group Scores New London County Communities' Plans
A group of organizations scored the many affordable housing plans in the area and will discuss the topic at an event this month.
NEW LONDON, CT — The Center for Housing Equity and Opportunity will host a conversation on local affordable housing plans in New London County later this month.
The center, along with partners Regional Plan Association and Desegregate CT, reviewed and scored local affordable housing plans adopted by communities in New London County, assessing them against the recommendations from the Connecticut Department of Housing.
Panelists will discuss the scores of each affordable housing plan, the opportunities they offer for the region, how to translate them into action, and why they matter for Connecticut residents, according to a Center for Housing Equity and Opportunity statement.
