Al Gore of Lyme Arrested on Child Pornography Charge

A computer was seized as evidence in the case, according to state police. Gore was arrested in New London and processed in Montville.

Two years after detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit began an investigation into the distribution of child pornography, an arrest warrant was granted for a Lyme resident.

Al Gore, 27, of 130 Boston Post Rd. in East Lyme, was arrested on Tuesday, August 4. A search and seizure warrant was granted by the Superior Court during the course of the investigation and detectives seized a computer and related items.

Gore was arrested for possession of child pornography in the third degree. He was taken into custody and transported to Troop E in Montville for processing.

Gore was held on $80,000 bond and issued an August 4 court date.
