Joe Mugovero 64 of New London competed in the New England Record Breakers Bench Press Competition held at the Ironhorse Strength & Fitness in New Hartford, Ct. held Saturday. His first lift of 290lbs set a Connecticut record. His second and third lifts of 310lbs and 320lbs are accepted world records by the American Powerlifting Association. The former record was 300lbs.
