Artist Academy @ Hygienic Begins Oct. 20

Be a part of a fun, informative workshops geared to enhance the business arena of being a creative artist

The first Trimester of Artist Academy @ Hygienic is open for registration. Classes for workshops are $15 per class; 25 for 2, and $35 for three. To register and pay, visit http://www.hygienic.org

Inventory: It’s Your Story, Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 7 pm

Join distinguished painter Mark Patnode, who will cover the importance of keeping a current inventory and how it correlates to three areas: artwork, publicity, and supplies. An artist’s bio, resume, and statement are critical for publicity and take the inventory process to other levels - with the aggregate also assisting in provenance and record keeping.

Keeping Your Creative Spark Alive! , Tuesday, Nov. 17 at 7 pm

In this interactive workshop, artist and author Jeannie Thomma connects how time spent has a direct impact on creative flow. This workshop will impart the skill-set, heart-set, and mind-set necessary to nourish the artistic soul and sustain creative energy.

Further and Further from the Divine: Arts’ Deviation from Pretty, Tuesday, Dec. 15

Hygienic resident artist Casey Spectacular will facilitate and Artist’s Talk on deviant art. How do you feel about art that makes you uncomfortable? During a collective artists’ discussion, join this dialogue on the history of deviant art, why you do what you do, and the business aspect of selling your work.
