Back To School: New London 2023-24 School Calendar

NEW LONDON, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in New London, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in New London Public Schools.

The first day of school for students in New London is Sept. 5. Preschool returns Sept. 11.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

New London Public Schools

First Day: The first day for students is Sept. 5.

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 22 (early release) through Nov. 24.

Winter Break: Dec. 22 (half day) through Jan. 1.

President's Day Break: Feb. 19-Feb. 20.

Spring Break: April 8 through April 12.

Last Day: The last day of school for all students is tentatively scheduled for June 13 (half day).
