Bank Street Shooting Prompts Police Plea for Witnesses

New London Police are seeking witnesses and information on a reported shooting that occurred July 10.

In the early morning hours of Friday, July 10, an adult man arrived at L&M Hospital. The man is the victim of a non-life threatening gunshot wound, New London Police’s Deputy Chief Peter Reichard said. He was treated and released.

“The victim was uncooperative with the police, but officers determined that the shooting appears to have occurred in the area of 18 Bank St. New London, CT,” Reichard said.

Anyone who may have witnessed or has information concerning the incident is asked to contact the New London Police Department at 860-447-5269 or anonymous information can be submitted via the Internet at the New London Tips 411 system.
