Bantams Defeat Camels In Women's Tennis Match

Trinity College bests Connecticut College 8-4

Freshman Regan Cherna (Bronxville, N.Y.) won, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and teamed with fellow rookie Elizabeth Gerber (Bethesda, Md.) for an 8-4 triumph at No. 3 doubles, leading the Trinity College Bantams to a 7-2 win over the visiting Connecticut College Camels in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) women's tennis action this afternoon at the Assaiante Tennis Center. Trinity improves to 8-4 overall and 3-2 in the NESCAC with its third win in a row, while the Camels drop to 7-11 overall and 0-5 in the league.

Sophomore Sara Krivoshik (Wilton, Conn.) posted a 6-0, 6-1 victory at #4 singles for Connecticut College.
