Bullets Strike Home, Vehicle In New London: Police

Police are investigating a shots-fire incident over the weekend.

NEW LONDON, CT — One home and one vehicle were struck in a shots-fired incident in New London on Saturday night, according to police.

Police responded at 10:45 p.m. to a report of gunfire at Rogers Street and Jefferson Avenue.

Police found evidence of gunshots fired in the area, including one home and one vehicle that had been struck. Police also found multiple shell casings.

Police said the incident did not appear to be random. No injuries were reported.
