Bysiewicz In New London Wednesday To Kick Off Census 2020: Mayor

NEW LONDON, CT — Mayor Michael Passero announced that Lt. Gov. Susan Bysiewicz will be in the city Wednesday to kick off the New London 2020 Census.

Passero noted on social media that "the distribution of federal funds, grants and support to states and cities are based on Census data. Seniors, children, families, schools, hospitals, businesses, non-profit organizations, police and fire, roads and bridges are all impacted" by the 2020 Census.

Bysiewicz will join Passero at the New London Senior Center at 11 a.m.
