The Springfield College men's tennis team fell to Connecticut College, 9-0, under sunny skies this afternoon at the Appleton Courts in non-conference play. The SC player who fought the hardest was senior Eric Henne (Bristol, Conn.), who lost to freshman Will Tucker (London, England) by a score of 5-7, 6-1, 6-2. Otherwise, the remaining scores all came by straight sets.
For the Camels, senior Trevor Prophet (Nashua, N.H.) won at No. 1 singles over sophomore Ben Burnap (Westerly, R.I.), 6-2, 6-3.

At No. 2, junior Jeff Weisberger (Wayne Hills, N.J.) defeated junior Doug Nickerson (Falmouth, Maine), 6-2, 6-1.
Connecticut College swept the doubles matches, no worse than 8-3, giving the Camels a quick 3-0 lead.
