Camels Fall Short In Florida Basketball Competition
Sophomore Matt Vadas puts up nearly half of Connecticut College's score

Connecticut College fell a few baskets short in their first pairing of the Land of Magic Classic, taking place at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla. Bridgewater State University defeated the Camels 59-53. The following information was provided by William Tomasian, sports information director at Connecticut College:
The Bears improve to 3-5 with the victory, while the Camels fall to 3-6 with the setback.
Sophomore sharp-shooter Matt Vadas (Spring Lake Heights, N.J.) poured in 26 points to lead the Camels.

"That was a tough loss," Connecticut College head men's basketball coach Tom Satran said. "We played well for most of the first half but Bridgewater State really wore us down in the second. They pressured us into some mistakes that we have to avoid if we are going to be able to compete against top teams."
The Camels will meet Mount Aloysius Friday afternoon for a 4:00 p.m. game in Daytona Beach.
